Tips for Adding Steps to Daily Walking


Some tips for ways to add to your daily steps are as follows:
  • Park far away and walk. (Could save your car from dings in shopping centers too!)

  • If you live in a big city, try walking instead of taking a taxi or subway.

  • Elevators and escalators are your enemies – take the stairs.

  • In an office building, deliver walk to that cubicle instead of calling or sending an email.

  • Walk for lunch or have a light lunch after walking.

  • Walk in place while watching TV.

  • Take walking breaks at work – you will feel more alert and can get inspiration during the walk
